Community

A beautiful coastal city, with a vibrant community spirit, Port Lincoln is situated in Boston Bay on the southern end of South Australia's Lower Eyre Peninsula, approximately 650km by road or an easy 45min direct flight from Adelaide.

Within easy driving distance of the town centre you will find sheltered beaches, surf beaches and rugged oceanic coast- line. Port Lincoln's vast coastline extends to the Lincoln National Park, Coffin Bay National park and the exhilarating Whalers Way.

As well as farming with cropping and livestock production, Port Lincoln is harbour to a very large fishing fleet and has large cage enclosures for South Blue Fin Farming and is known as Australia’s Sea Food Capital. Mining companies are exploring the area at the moment and will open mines in the next few years.
